The shrieks and giggles of five rowdy, half-dressed kids splashing along the waterfront interrupted the last few minutes of a soothing massage on the beach in Padangbai. Still playing by the time we ran down to meet them, the kids took to us and our cameras instantly, jumping all over each other to be photographed in silly, dramatic poses. With two cameras and a shared group of models, we had no choice but to shoot these little divas from all sides.

I was enjoying a $3/hr massage on Padangbai beach while discussing with my new lady friends just how many more I would get in the next few days. My attention was suddenly diverted by a group of adorable children who had bounced onto the sand below, pulling off their outer layers to frolic in the warm, rocky bay. Just how much longer was this massage? The nonexistent tension in my back quickly became secondary to playing with these cute, vivacious kids. As they struck their signature pose, Bali became my personal paradise.
