After years of drawing black and white portraits under the training of my mother, I began experimenting with layers of plastics and virtually anything that I could get my hands on.The basic elements of these pieces are oil pastels, plastics of all thicknesses, different varieties of paper, many types of glue, and tons of scraps. One-dimensional photos don't seem to capture the details and textures of the cutting, pasting, and superimposing of images from one side of the canvas to another, not to mention getting high on glue and covered in garbage. Nonetheless, these pictures are fun and childlike. All dated between 1996-2000.
