While browsing at the local market, I joined these two young ladies for a bit of downtime. Enjoying their afternoon with some small rocks and pleasant conversation, they were more than happy to let me stay for awhile. I saved some rupiahs in the process.

It is a common sight in Bali: crowded,
colorful markets run by female proprietors promising to “give good price" and packed with stands selling all sorts of goods, though often the exact same ones as their neighbors. In the midst of this daily struggle to sell, two girls sit immersed in play on the berry-stained street under
the watchful eyes of their mothers, enjoying their youthful freedom while they can. I snuck up to capture the moment, but was caught at the last second..
